David Murdock began his financial services career in 1993 with New England Financial. Prior to coming to New England, Dave earned his CPA designation as an auditor with McGladrey in the Bloomington, Minnesota office. The experience as an auditor provided a great springboard into the role as a financial advisor. After his first eight years of experience as a financial advisor, Dave moved his practice to CU Companies when an opportunity presented itself to manage and grow the company's financial planning business unit. Today, CU Companies serves 18 credit unions and thousands of their members with a wide variety of financial planning services.

Dave and the team at CU Companies come with a diverse and experienced background, which allows them to provide an excellent experience to the members of the credit unions they serve. In addition to working with credit union members, the staff at CU Companies has developed a significant retirement plan business that has been growing steadily since 2006. Dave believes that a plan participant should not be left on his/her own to manage what will most likely be his/her most significant retirement asset. Providing sound financial advice in an unbiased manner to those seeking assistance is a responsibility he takes very seriously. Dave is passionate about providing guidance to investors and helping create successful roadmaps according to each individual's needs.

Dave has made his home in the Twin Cities for the last 25 years. He has raised his three children here and is very active in their lives. Dave also enjoys the outdoors, whether it is golfing, hunting, biking or traveling.
